OPENING MIDNIGHT FRIDAY 

STOKERS FINE PANCAKES

Head to South Melbourne for your fix of crepe pancakes – both savoury and sweet available. Known as a post for late-night catch ups, we love that Stokers is opening on the dot so you can enjoy their speciality – the palatschinke.

RUMI

The Middle Eastern restaurant is hosting a Midnight Mezze feast for Mental Health to raise money for Beyond Blue. $100 per person and limited to 20 people. Head to the Brunswick Eatery to dine out for a good cause.

MAMMOTH CAFE

Located in Armadale, Mammoth Cafe is back offering staple brunch items such as Chilli scramble, breakfast burrito or their duck benedict. Popular with the locals especially for a caffeine hit of  Inglewood coffee.

MILU

This cafe is a pastel dream come true. Malvern local rejoice as Milu is back with their coffee, sanga specials, and smoothie bowls. I am a personal fan of their sriracha bacon & egg roll. No bookings necessary

Elwood BAthers

Enjoy your brunch or lunch amongst amazing views of Port Phillip at Elwood Bathers. The menu features locally sourced and sustainable produce which you can pair with their hand-selected wine list.

FLOVIE FLORIST CAFE

One of Melbourne’s most instaworthy cafe is back – the hybrid florist, cafe and function  space is a gorgeous space and their food & drinks are equally delicious as they are pretty. Get in early because it’s walk-ins only

COTE TERRA

The speciality coffee roasters / cafe is located in Oakleigh and their menu is drool-incuding – just look at this eggs benny. Walk-ins are welcome, but they recommend making a booking.

THAT’s AMORE CHEESE

This one is for the cheese addicts. This Cheese Deli & Kitchen’s menu focuses on cheese, but ofc, think breakfast burrata, ricotta gnocchi and for sweets, freshly filled traditional Cannoli. Or you can try one of their ever changing specials.

In the CBD, down a basement in Flinders Lane below it’s sister restaurant Hazel, is Dessous. Moody but elegant –  enjoy indulgent snacks with your wine or a  unique cocktail. Definitely make a booking.

GLOU

A sustaintable wine dispensary – GLOU is a wine tasting room located in Collingwood. Representing independent wine makers but also offering  up new cocktails that they’ve been working out this lockdown.

If you’re in Brunswick, get the crew for some wine here. Indoors and outdoor options available. For those wanting food – set menus have to be pre-ordered or you can order items off the snack menu.

One of my Chinatown favourites Le Charme is back! Head down Little Bourke Street to find this gorgeous interior with delicious but affordable Chinese food – they are famous for their Peking Duck set. No reservations – walk in only.

FANCY HANK’s BBQ

Think American-style slow-cooked Barbeque in Melbourne’s CBD…Brisket, pulled pork, delicious smoked meats and tasty sides. They’ll also be able to accomodate bookings on their rooftop bar Good Heavens.
